Lauren Gregory-Baker is a graduate, of
the North Carolina School of the Arts and
Purchase College
the State University of New York. She studied with schools
such as Joffrey Ballet,
The Chautaugua Institute, and The National
Academy of Ballet in Budapest, Hungary. Performing with both
ballet and modern companies including
The Granite State Ballet,
and the Metropolitan Ballet of Caracas, Venezuela. In
addition to her work on the stage, Lauren has appeared on
television and in music videos including
Christina Aguilera's
video Fighter.
Teaching and choreographing have also been large
parts of Lauren's work. For three years she was the artistic
director of The Young Dancers of Wilmington in Wilmington, North
Carolina where she produced and original ballet entitled The
Tale of Cinderella.
Lauren enjoys teaching students and is thrilled to be a part of
the Performing Arts Center staff.
