Terrence Yates
Terrence Yates training started in high school at a performing arts school in Louisville Kentucky. She was then awarded numerous scholarships including training with The Louisville Ballet, and a full scholarship to The University of Illinois. Opting for a career in ballet, she went on to train with the famed Dance Theater of Harlem in New York City.

Wanting to experience the world of television and the movies, she moved to Los Angeles where she was fortunate enough to work nonstop.  She danced and sang with many artists such as Janet Jackson, Prince and Debbie Gibson just to name a few. She’s written and starred in her own one-woman show! Having been fortunate enough to be on many television shows, in the movies and even touring places such as the U.S., Japan, Brazil and such, Terrance feels the most important aspect of her career has been in her ability to give back. As a teacher for over thirteen years and working as one of the directors of the apprentice program, she feels there’s always more to learn and will forever be a student of this wonderful art form called dance!
